Position Title: Wing Head – Monitoring

Reporting to:

Unit Head – Monitoring (AVP/VP)

Educational/Professional Qualification:

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by HEC.
• Master’s degree and/or any professional certification(s) will be preferred.

Experience:

• At least 7 years of banking experience, with a minimum of 4 years in Internal Controls, Compliance, or Internal Audit.
• Strong leadership experience in team management.
• Experience of auditing trade finance will be an added advantage.

Skills/Expertise:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of SBP regulations and the ability to analyze data for compliance reviews.

Outline of Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the re-testing of RCSA’s using both On-site and Off-site methodologies to assess compliance with regulatory instructions, requirements, and guidelines.
• Oversee independent compliance verification, including work planning.
• Understand the facets of controls and risk assessments, challenge existing processes, and guide stakeholders to address gaps and mitigate non-compliance risks.
• Prepare and generate reports, dashboards, and maintain continuous analysis regarding non-compliance.
• Demonstrate an understanding of SBP regulations, and identify review focus areas through data analysis.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure regular follow-ups until gaps are closed.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor(s).

Employment Type:

• Contractual basis for three years, which may be renewed at the discretion of the management.
