For SST (Secondary School Teacher – BS-17)
- Master’s degree (16 years of education) in any subject with B.Ed or equivalent.
- Alternatively, M.A (Education Planning & Management) is also acceptable.
- Age Limit: 22 to 30 years (plus 5 years general age relaxation).
For TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher – BS-16)
- Bachelor’s degree (14 years of education) in the relevant subject with B.Ed.
- Age Limit: 20 to 28 years (plus 5 years general age relaxation).
Category-Based Age Relaxation
- 3 Years: Candidates from Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Rural Sindh, Balochistan, AJK, GB, Ex-FATA.
- 10 Years: Government servants with 2+ years of service.
- 10 Years: Persons with disabilities.
- 15 Years: Armed forces personnel (retired/released).
- 5 Years: Children or spouses of deceased government servants (post-2005, with proof).
